May 4th is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate the franchise’s films series, books and culture. The date was chosen as “May the 4th” due to its sounding similar to the series’ phrase “May the Force be with you” in which fans commonly say “May the fourth be with you”. (source wikipedia)
So as a Star Wars fan (geek), i decided with my friend Yannis Kelemenis to make a photo under the Acropolis, in Athens, on the rooftop of his appartment.
I had to do “a little” editing, to add a Death Star and some clouds in the backround, adding some extra cheesiness.
Here is also what i uploaded on my instagram account for the same reason.
…and since i like analogue, there is one older picture i made when i was testing a Rolleiflex Automat camera, at home.
