As every of the last years, i attended the Kerameikos-Metaxourgeio street carnival. Quoting from last year “The main reason is that is a multi-culti neighborhood that knows how to have fun and party, its spontaneous, and the parade passes through some interesting streets of Athens, there are no cops “controlling the traffic”, cool parents partying with their kids playing freely around without unnecessary overprotecting shouts every 10 seconds , in a few words its like a street Dionysian party, rather than an organized event.”
