The Smoky Twins – Death Row

The Smoky Twins is a project formed on winter 2011 by two lovers. They are an indie band attached to the old school blues sounds at the beginning of a journey. Their first EP entitled “Southern Culture Kingdom” is a set of 3 bluesy songs recorded here and there in Europe. “Death Row” Recorded in Athens, GR, “Jesus’s sand & Mary Jane” Recorded in Transylvania, RO and “The Blackbird Blues” Recorded in Marbach, DE.

When i visited them, in Stuttgart we decided to make a music video for “Death Row”. It was literally shot on the fly, since it wasn’t planned, at the area around their house. I used a nikon D90, not really a camera for making great videos, but that’s what i had with me at my trip to Germany, along with a Tamron 17-50mm/2.8 lens.
