Yesterday it was a free museum day, so i decided to go up to the Acropolis hill, since its been a while from my last visit. I carried my Canon 5dII, the Canon 24-105/4 which i didn’t use much, because i wanted to shoot mainly with my newly purchased Zeiss Flektogon 20mm/2.8. The weather was great, that means cloudy, with filtered sunlight, which created nice shadows, and soft light and skin tones, making exposure easy for the time of day. It also rained for a few minutes, which also helped a lot in creating interesting subjects. I tried to expose for the highlights, to keep all detail in the clouds, because my 5dII has the bad habit to burn overexposed areas easily, and never restore them in post, so i pushed the shadows a bit afterwards.
After i spent a few hours on the hill, i climbed down to the ancient market, Stoa of Attalos, and the Hepheastus temple, and i finished my walk at Monastiraki and Thiseion area
